Introduction to GBFS
GBFS stands for General Bikeshare Feed Specification. It is to shared (micro-)mobility what GTFS is to public transportation, meaning:
- it's a standardised data format to describe a shared mobility network (such as a city's fleet of escooters, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, etc.)
- that enables mobility providers to publish data for software developers to create tools for travellers (such as bike renting mobile apps).
